about
Hovering Presence part.1 is a song about the presence of God. The word “Hovering” is inspired by the first verses of the Bible, in Genesis 1.2 : Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. I had this image of the Spirit of God that is everywhere, hovering over the surface of the earth. That song is about how I feel the Spirit of God, how he reveals himself to me. I feel it through the sun, through the breeze, through nature, through all of his creation. God can be found everywhere, especially right next to us.
lyrics
The first ray of sunlight is piercing through the dark
Landing on my skin
Filling my heart with his peace
I feel a pleasant heat warming my flawed soul
Reviving my spirit
Like a glimmer of hope
The sweet breeze moves through my mind clearing my thinking
Calming my worries
Taking my sorrows away
I feel this soft freshness surrounding me
Revealing his presence
Removing my loneliness
And I can sense you hovering
On this peaceful dawn I feel your look upon me
An endless tenderness
Unveiling how pure love in
This mighty encounter relieves my heart
Rekindles my spark
Leading me to a new start
And I can sense you hovering
And I can sense you hovering
I feel this soft freshness surrounding me
Revealing the presence
Of the Holy Spirit
